Dali has kept growing pretty solidly so far! It's my first time doing LST, so maybe I could have trained it a little earlier. No snaps or breakages so I'm already happy with that! It's a little cooler than I'd like, and I probably should turn the heating in my apartment on but I'm stubborn. I'm only watering every 4-5 days with about 250ml of 1/2 str GHE still, she doesn't seem all that thirsty, but I'm comparing that to the plant I grew in the middle of summer. As it's my first LST, I'd love some feedback from anyone on how it's looking so far :) Anyway, see you in a week!

I'm having trouble figuring out what's going on with my plant. The cotyledons and lower fan leaves are getting irregular shiny patches varying in size underneath, with yellow spots directly above them on the top side. It's really hard to photograph the shiny patches. Thrips?

here's a pic of thirp damage... growdiaries.com/diaries/109886-grow-journal-by-nobodysbuds it looks different. You are looking at 2 of the oldest nodes on plant. 3-fingerd and single serrated blade leaves... good chance they are just being shed, if blocked from light. The plant will suck them dry and shed them if they are too dark or too much foliage otherwise relative environmennt provided. do the black specs brush off? that would be a sign of some bug's feces. If it is brushing along soil occasionally, that could also be a cause of the dark bits as well as symptoms seen in leaf. looks like it's touching ground and twisting a bit due to LST stress, which will go away.. if touching ground, bend or remove the leaf. i see a leaf bent down between plant and edge of pot.. flip that bad boy up to rest on top of pot rim... same with any others touching or nearly touching soil. if the plant deems a leaf useless, it iwll shed it.. that is dependent on the light it is receiving (plant's react in a compartmentalized/local way.. there is no central nervous system)... if the cells in area don't get "something(s)" it'll cause a response to shed the leaf or whatever has to be done. e.g. you can darken 1 limb on a plant 10+ hours per day and it will go into bloom while rest stays in vege (do not do this, as it could have soem adverse impacts, but is most definitely possible to do.)

I never recommend LST for auto flowering strains...you will end up with 30cm micro plant in 160cm high tent...just saying:p wish you all the best!
