the breeder info is just a "maybe" due to genetic diversity of seed.. better breeders wil have more consistent products... Unfortunately, all you have is user-feedback, which is one of the least helpful metrics possible...
diaries on the other hand provide some great info.. you can consider more factors as to how they got to their conclusions. you can see the end product.
so, make a list of things you are interested in based on breeder info. then, come here and search fro grows with that strain+same breeder(important). Probably the most informed decision you can make.
Even so, each seed can be different. Often you here about up to 3 or 4 common phenotypes you are likely to see -- this is a bit of a misuse of the term, but it gets the point accross. The breeder has made a few traits prominent, but impossible to make it consistent for every seed, so you get a little variety, nonehteless. Even a small %-chance of something whacky-different than expectations.
