Giving smaller amounts around plant not on base of plant is ideal to prevent overwatering. Me personally I like to water one side while other stays dryer then swap sides for next watering, especially when younger. Good luck and happy growing 🌱

thanks a lot folks for everyone that sent a reply, really appreciated. I had just given them a little water about 2 days ago the air pot was pretty dry, will wait till a bit dryer before doing it again. My temps may be the problem quite a cold climate this time of year about 16-17 degrees when light on and then 14-15 degrees when off. Humidty is about 65-70 %. Using Bio Bizz light mix and i mixed about 15% coco coir in with the light mix for the 12litre air pot and smaller pot was just light mix. For nutrients i have BioBizz grow, Bloom, Topmax. Not used any nutes yet, was thinking day 20 try a little ?

Slow growth could be for any number of reasons and is not in any way a bad thing, or not the angle of the leaves indicates a very happy plant, the color is vibrant and she looks full of vitality, whatever your doing is working fine, it's not a race, please post more accurate information, there are 9 cardinal rules to growing cannabis without knowing accurate parameters of your growing conditions one cannot help determine any issues you may be having that could be effecting rapid growth.

If you have good temperatures and good circulation its near impossible to overwater a pruning pot, just keep feeding water until you get 5-10% dripping out the bottom then let the plant tell you when its time, if soil looks exceptionally dry then water or even wait for mild drooping, this will bring on surges of root development as the plant start to get desperate for water which if used accuraltey can boost growth. Try focusing on what the plant tells you it wants and be less calculated, treat her with love and respect and care and she will tell you what she needs.

Hello samosthelder in general you must give 10-20 % of the number of liters of soil. So if you have 10 L of soil give between 1L and 2L maximum. So for you give to your plant between 1,2L and 1,5L maximum. Good luck. Bye

From the pics I’d probably give the Afghan auto about 250ml and increase it as it gets bigger and for the smaller one 200ml and increase when it gets bigger!! My Afghan autos are in 11l pots and around ur size I was giving 250ml of water but now I’m on day 27 there just about to start bidding I think and I’m giving them 750ml each !! Check my diary out but I think give the Afghan 250ml and when she is dry increases it to 500ml and then if she is dry 2 in two days give her 750ml but it really does depend on ur environment Aswell so best to check the soil and only water when dry till u get the hang of things
