No trichomes almost week 8.

Hi guys my g.g. auto from fastbuds is 7 weeks 4 days old. I would have thought the trichomes would have started. Also the white hairs are turning brown. Im thinking my light is to close. Idk though. Any suggestions would be great.

Hi there! Some strains start to produce trichomes earlier than others but they should appear at week 5 of flowering atleast. If the pistils turn brown it can be from light/heat stress or from water or from touching them

Bad taste buds, flushed/cured not enough Unfortunately I had to harvest after 1 week of intense flush and I made a first test today after 1 week of drying and 2 weeks of glass without open the jars..the smell is not so bad but still very stinging while the taste is really bad, can I do something now or is it too late?:/

How to Trigger 30 years ago I grew a lot under HPS and have just recently gotten back into it. One thing we always did was to turn off the lights for a 24 hour period to supposedly trigger the plants faster. I learned this from the person who taught me how to grow. Has anyone heard of this?

Any THC in Tiny Premature Buds on Dying Plant?I've lost a plant to what I think is root rot. I'm only four weeks into flowering and the buds are just little balls about the diameter of a penny. If I dry these buds when I take it down, do you think it will have enough THC to get any effect at all if I try to smoke them?

Sun tan effect?Am starting flower and was wondering how to do the sun tan effect without burning to bring out color. Should I drop my flowering light down from 18in to 14 in the last hour of the day then back up to 18 after rest the last two weeks of flower? Or is my guess completely off?

Possible calcium def. or other issue affecting leaves and buds Is this a calcium issue, and if so why is it spreading to this one bud in particular? There are four photos of the effected bud, as well as a few shots of unaffected buds to compare. Also have spotted leaves that look like ca issue but not sure why its spread to the one bud.

What should I do with my hermie?My Lamb’s Bread turned out to be a ‘true hermafrodite’. It has buds and on the lower branches pollensacs have emerged. The sacs even have opened 😳😱 I removed the plant from my grow room. Is killing it my only option? If I cut the pollen sacs off, will they keep coming back?
