How big of an issue is light? HELP

How do you know whether to raise or lower your lights? My LED is pulling about 250watts from the wall... Box said keep light 30" away during veg... But I'm not so sure about that. Thoughts? How will I know if it needs more/less light?

Hey Growmie ...
When they are seedlings 30" would be perfect but once they are in veg and flower you'll need to move the light to 18"-24" away from the canopy. You'll know if its too much light because the plant will start showing signs of stress, and it doesn't then you leave it at that distance.

When it's a seedling 30 inches is good. Later on in veg drop to about 20-22 inches. Then 12-16 in flower. Hopefully this helps! Same watt lights as me. And what I did! Happy Growing! 🤟😜

Hight ProblemsI’ve got 3 plants in my tent, but they’re all different heights. To compensate, I’ve hung my light at an angle, so one end is closer to the smaller plants.
My question is: Does this help, or am I better off keeping the light level? Any tips for dealing with uneven plant heights?

Started the plants off with 60 watts. Increased to 100 watts today with a 20/5 schedule. Could I increase to the full 150 watts already or should I give them a few days with 100? Thanks in advance for any advice. It’s my first indoor grow with this setup and I’m still learning :)
