Veg and bloom switches?

I’ve heard grower keep both during the “stretch” of the flower phase and then will switch to bloom only after about 4 weeks of flower, strain and phenotype depending. I think honestly you could just switch to bloom, the ladies will stretch regardless and the sooner you get them focused on bud production the sooner your going to get to your harvest. I really doubt the extra time with the veg spectrum will give you any bigger yield and whatever extra growth you may get probably is not worth the extra time you taking without competing the harvest and cycling on to your next grow.
