Hi! I found these weird but kinda beautiful eggs on my baby. No infestation or anything, just this one leaf that I threw out, but it got me curious, does anyone know what kind of bug lays eggs like that? Maybe a stink bug? Thanks!
I know nothing about insects. But google tells me its a stinkbug.

Heres a quote from the second link
"These eggs, resembling a ninja’s iron spike ball, belong to the stink bug (Podisus maculiventris).
The momma stink bug actually has the ability to choose the color of her eggs.
The coloring ranges from pale yellow to black, depending on the surface on which she lays them."
Happy Growing
I'm guilty of a recent slug genocide on the garden, these will suffer the same fate. Thanks everyone! This was very informative, I wish I could choose all answers as correct.
Definitely remove any infected leaves as once they hatch you will have an infestation. I am leaning towards agreeing with some others that they may be from stink bugs.
One last thing - bugs lay eggs where there is a food source because they don’t come back to feed their young…. I predict that your ladies are on the menu 🤣🤣🤣
Those are NOT friendly to your plants…use extreme violence ….no mercy …. bug genocide immediately— not sure if you get how bad, bad can be, but FOFO if you want to 😂😂😂
Hey, these are not stinkbug's eggs because are white/gray in a geometrical pattern (exagon). Seem to be such a kind of beetles's egg, but unfortunately not ladybugs. Remove them.
