It's going to be hard to change the schedule until the autos are harvested. They don't need a change in hours...they need as many as they can get, 18...20. Once they flower and finish then you'll want to flip the photoperiod to a 12/12. Most autos go anywhere from 8-12 weeks. So train the photoperiod so it won't get too tall.

Autos grow better at 18 6 or 20 4 light cycle unless you want to decrease yields on the autos should try put the photo in a different location on 12 12 light cycle when you wish to flip it to flower you could even let it veg out the hole auto cycle then flip it when you harvest your autos but if space is a issue might get very big

As long as you have the room for the vertical stretch, you can leave them as long as you like before making the flip to 12/12.. Happy growing! 👊
