Lockout or deficiency?

GroweRoss

I have an issue with a girl. Newbie alert. I feel it’s either calcium def or nut lockout. I fed with 1/2 rec BAC grow feed and it didn’t get better, so 2 days after I gave a flush of fresh water. Now it’s really trying to grow, it’s kicking out new leaves but it’s stunted

Yes. Once you water again after it has dried out she will start eating again but be mindful of nutrient strength as she will not need much to start. Not sure if BAC is chemical or organic. If organic it shouldn’t mater but if chemical, start with 1/4 strength max and ramp back up to previous strength as you see her recover. Also increase you light intensity as she gets better and ensure proper ph levels of 6.2-6.5 or tap water is fine too but tends to be around 7.0. Your good to water again when pot feels light and you can stick a finger 1” deep in soil and it doesn’t feel cool and no dark dirt stuck on finger. Do everything you can to speed up dry time before it’s too late. Overwatering is one of the worst things for plant health. Hope you can save it! Good luck and message me anytime for help.

Thank you for the detailed answer @GaiaGreenGiant. I think they’re all slightly too well watered (curse of the first grow keenness). I shall get these babies dried out. Will she just start metabolising nutrients when the souls dry enough or is she likely to of ‘fully locked up’ if that’s a thing?

Sure the leafs are showing potassium deficiency but what was missed is the reason behind it. It’s obvious to me that the deficiency mentioned is caused by overwatering. Leaves are very droopy and puffed up like pillows from being water logged forcing them to curl down like that. Plant has stopped metabolizing nutrients. Look it up for yourself! Best thing you can do is make it dry out as quick as you can to avoid further complications. Point fan directly on soil, increase temp, increase all ventilation, reduce humidity, poke air holes in medium and or let plant sit outside of its pot. make sure it dries out completely before watering again and resume at around 1 cup per watering for the size of your plant and increase amount as she gets bigger. Also raise or dim lights some as she does not need it. Growers should really take the time to figure out issues with plants instead of racing through questions for points. Hope you look up overwatering and see for yourself. I know this will help. Cheers 🍻
