first true leaves are turning yellow in both plants.small tips on 2 other leaves. This is "california super soil" bottom 1/3 and fox farm the upper 2/3. Supposed to feed the whole grow. Feeding only RO water, 4 cups every three days or so. Soil to hot for the young plants?

Based on the size of your pot, amount of water you're giving, and the growth of your plant. I'd say you need to be more thoroughly watering it. If that is a 1 or 3 gallon pot I would water it until you get a bit of run off the next watering, and from there try to keep the soil more moist. It looks a little dry. Good luck growmie!

they look good to me, but the soil may very well be too hot (especially the fox farms), a little tip-burn is expected when the nutes are on the hot side but the lower leaves are just being shaded out as the new growth is starting to blow up, i would water them only after a full dry back for a few days to see if the tip burn clears up but this much isnt much of an issue. -weewilly

Don't worry, it is nothing, those first leaves die and drop off most often and for no real reason........apart from that their job is done. Being small and shaded under everything else doesn't help their health either. And yes, water the entire pot and until run-off.........deep thorough watering periodically is much better than small amounts often.
