My BB3 is having problems. Pale, leaves are drooping. 4 months old and has been in 11L BB Allmix for about 2-3 weeks. I'm watering with Biobizz (5ml Grow/1 Bloom), can't measure pH. I have thrips that I can't get rid of (treated with Neudorff insecticide and aphid-free). Light & temp are fine. Anyone have an idea?

To be precise about what they are missing, it would be important to know the pH value and EC value of your runoff; a deficiency or a blockage can be distinguished more easily this way. And you can get a measuring device for just a few euros. As for the thrips, I can only advise you to buy the yellow sticky traps; they will stick to those. And buy nematodes, which are beneficial organisms that you mix with water and apply to the soil; they eat the larvae of the thrips. You can also order them on Amazon. I always do it this way and have never had problems since; they appear briefly but are then relatively quickly decimated after treatment. Everything else with sprays and such just harms the leaves and doesn’t really help. Good luck!

It's not the thrips. The damage to the plants is hardly noticeable. Your leaves can have various causes, but definitely no deficiency if the information in your diary is correct. Something is off with the pH of your soil. A) Are you possibly watering too much and causing waterlogging in the pot? Check the weight before watering to see if it might still be damp at the bottom. B) You might be fertilizing quite a bit. It could also be that nutrient ions have accumulated in the soil and are now affecting the pH. I would just give water for a week, remove the affected leaves, and then go for a maximum of 5ml up to 10ml NPK vegi/bloom, it doesn't matter. The phosphorus difference doesn't play a role. I hope it recovers. It's a gem!
