It's cold and moist up there...so not many sativa strains unless they're fast flowering. You could do many autoflower plants out there, since they typically handle colder temperatures and moist environments.
Otherwise the one strain i grew that really blew me away on time, resilience and quality was Female Seeds c99. It grew as big as any other photoperiod plants, but it would flower so fast...maybe 7-8 weeks. Which could definitely be accomplished in a shorter summer area like buffalo.
Since growing the c99 for the first time I noticed many other breeders have recently released some "fast flowering photoperiod plants ", sweet seeds/HSO etc. And they all supposedly have the positives of photoperiod plants with a shorter life span. I'd think about trying some of those if i were in your situation. 👍
