So guys, what are your thoughts about UV light complementation?
Earlier this year, I havested an auto flower, and she dind't bulk up the trich production. I ended up with big flowers but with no effect at all.
I was wondering if that has something to do with my light setup.

Ultraviolet is essential for metabolism and plant growth. It prevents stem stretching, increases vitamin C content in the plant, and has a cooling effect, hardening the plant and boosting its resistance to cold! A very useful part of the spectrum, I recommend it! 👌

The way I look at this, previous generation LEDs were lacking UV emitting lights, but harvests came out good anyway.
It might have been this particular strain/seed. IF you have more seeds, try again with your plan, to see if there is something to it.

I'm using a 12w bulb for reptiles with UVA and UVB spectrum during flowering. I've been using it since my last grow. The weed turned out strong, but I don't know if this bulb had an influence. Since it doesn't bother and uses little power, I'll keep using it.

Nanners?Can someone verify my latest 2 photos look like nanners? If so, I’d love some insight on why my plants seem to be so light sensitive. Most growers seem to blast their plants with upwards of 200w with little issue. Mine is sitting at 80w 22inches and it seems to be struggling!6y ago

OMGMy Timer malfuntioned and gave them over 22 hrs of light?I was wondering why they kept growing this fast and big until i controlled the system and noticed they get to much light and stretching this hard. So i turned the hrs down to 16 to stress them into blooming, will this Work?

Does anyone have experience with colas that have been severely light deprived, yet still have trichs?My ghost nug grew up on the side of the tent blocked from light. She has trichs, looks super light yellow (see pics). My question is, wouldn't this be desirable? Less chlorophyll to wait on before smoking? Has anyone tried to maybe light deprive parts of their colas?

Bud too close to the lightHi. The main bud on one is 10cm from the light. I cant raise the light any higher and have a bit more vertical growth to go. Shall I remove the bud at a lower artery, or leave it and bend it around the light somehow?? Don't want to loose the main bud but will if I have to?!?

Just ordered a 150W Quantum Board, can I swap my Blurple UFO mid grow to the new board? Is it possible to increase flower size this late into a grow?My Blurple apparently uses 230W actual draw but is advertised as 600W. If that 230W value is correct, does that suggest my new, much more expensive QB is not as good? Will it make a difference to the plants health? What are the benefits from the QB? Thanks!6y ago

Swapping day/night light cycle during flowerDay 22 of flower. Lights are on during the day, 8am-to-8pm but we need to switch to 8pm-to-8am to use the colder night air to cool our lights without using a/c. Would it negatively affect the plants at this point in flower to give them 24hrs dark & completely swap light cycle?

Lights Got Stuck On When It Should Have Been DarkI found last night that the timer for my lights got stuck on for close to 8 hours past when it should have been in dark period. Reveg/Budding issueWhat is my plant doing? the days are almost 15 hours long so I don't understand why it's budding still, I expected it to reveg by now but no sign of rounded single leaves still. The days are getting longer not shorter, end of next month is when the days start getting shorter.
