In the dark before harvest?

Is it imperative to put them in the dark before harvesting? I've built myself a dry box that will keep them dark, cool, and the air circulating. I still have plants growing so I can't off the lights and I don't have anywhere else to set them.

Leaving some leafs on while drying can help increase the drying time which some people like to and perfer to do. It helps keep them from drying out too quickly. I'd only leave a few here and there but trim off say 80% of them. The box should be fine, Just keep it cool in a spot with the right humidity level.. that will be the key.. Box looks great! 👊

Ok, can I ask this. Is it to clear the chlorophyll from the buds? If it's in the dark during the dry process with that efficiently do the same or will it not be as good? If I leave the leaves on before drying will that help? Or should I trim her up before drying? Sorry, first time here. Lots of questions. Lots.

Hey guys, I have a question about drying. Where I live the temp right now are pretty hot and the only place I can dry in is my grow tent(50x50x160cm)10 days from harvest.I will dry with a temp of 23/24C and 60/62%Rh. Unfortunately buying an ac unit is out of my budget at the moment. I'm planning to hang my plant whole to maximize the time of drying and compensate the hot temp. Hey what happen if you don't flush?And if I flush days before harvesting, and then I just want to harvest partially, since I want the buds on the bottom to keep developing which I think she can do so cuz she's really going on very well.
