I just started drying. Should I have trimmed off the small fan leaves before hanging? Does it make a difference?

It’s all preference imo... it’s easier to leave them on and just pull them off once dried, rather than cutting each one off. I take the time and get the larger one’s off, but you’ll be fine either way!

I've read many reviews on both on forums, mostly prefer the "dry trim" due to many reasons. try searching for this term.

Ready for Harvest?
Hello, I'm a newbie and that's my 1st try growing at home. I created my growing box with LED lights and ventilation—3 plants from Fast Buds auto mix. Question: Are they ready for harvest (100 days old)? And I would love to hear advice on how to dry them. Thanx!

What do you all think?
What do you all think? The harvest will be in a few weeks, in Germany only 50g is allowed dry Do you think it will be more or less? I know it will be hard to tell from a picture how much dry remains, but I hope there are some estimates.

When is this plant ready to harvest?
This is my first harvest and I have no clue if or when this plant is ready to harvest. I know to look for trichomes but I simply don't see the difference between them. Was hoping to harvest next week.

How long after the last flush, do you wait until you chop your plant? Do you let it dry out so the pot is nice and light before you harvest? Or is a little moisture left in the soil ok? Did last flush 48 hrs ago and I'm itching to chop her down, but still slightly damp soil

Drying.
Hi all! I currently have 2 plants growing. 1 of them has clearly bloomed faster and I will have to harvest it earlier. Because I have only one grow box and I don't know where to dry it. Can I put them somewhere for two weeks to wait for the 2nd one? Could u tell me what to do?

I have two drying options for my one plant. Wine fridge with perfect temp or closet with perfect humidity. Which is best?
Should I dry my one plant in a wine fridge with a compressor that causes the humidity to fluctuate between 50-70% but can be set to a perfect 60f, or should I dry in a closet with perfect 60% humidity but temp at a steady 74f with no way to lower it? Perfect humidity or temp? Thx

Harvest in 2 times, seeking advice, top big branch/buds first and then lower
Now 7 days from harvest. 3 plants with cloudy tricomes, no spottted ambar it's fine. Is necessary to harvest in 2 times? Give a week more for the bottom "popcorn" buds and the third plant, shorter in shadow? Should I cut whole largest branches entirely, or cut all at same height

Drying conditions still good?
Drying for 8 days and 10h No SNAP and smells a bit like grass/hey Unfortunately I have to change my conditions from 16.1c 65% rh (rh was slow raising from 55%to 65%) To now 16.6c 51%rh. Is this still good for the last days? Last drying took me 16 days.

To harvest, or not to harvest
Curious what others thoughts are - I realize this diary is seriously lacking. I only stumbled here on week 8 of this experiment. Do you think this girl is nearing, right at or still some time left before harvest?

Right harvest time - Trichome color expierences
Can you please share your experiences regarding the right time for 48h darkness + harvest? WW 70% Indica/30%Sativa, if the trichome color is milky it will be a head fucused instead of body focused effect Expectation:Harvest time should support the ratio type of strain

Is this still good or is it ruined?
Hung plants to dry and waited for stems to snap, unfortunately when I checked the buds were so crispy they basically crumbles in my hands. I heard this could be mold/rot also. Did I mess up and over dry my buds, or is this something much more awful? Is this still salvageable?

Is it ok to leave it hanging like this for a week? I cut off the biggest leafs. Should I shut down the exhaust fan to keep it moist in the room?

Should I trim/jar now or wait another day or 2?
Today is day 4 of drying and I've unfortunately had my temps around 68 and humidity at around 42%. The buds feel pretty dry/on the verge of crispy but the stems still have some bend. Should I jar tonight or will the moisture even out and wait for that snap? Thanks for any help!

Timing a 7d flush — will it over-ripen if I begin flushing when it's ready for harvest and keep it for 1 more week on flush juice?
Need advice on timing a 7d flush. My 2nd grow, both (Sativas) flowered signif. longer than advertised (+2-4 weeks). To know when to start flushing, do you visually estimate when a plant is no more t 1wk from harvest? If I start flush when it's ripe for harv, too late or ok?
