Hey everyone! I’m currently growing a Feminized auto flower platinum cookies strain and i’ve hit month 3 1/2 and it’s still not flowering and I have two full spectrum 1000 Watt LED lights on it. I just recently decided maybe I should try switching to 12/12hrs with red light only?

Que te iba a decir lo importante son las horas de oscuridad las que impulsan a floracion... intenta dejarlas 2 o 3 dias con mas oscuridad

Hey thanks a lot everyone! I just set it to Red spectrum and 12 hours off 12 hours on, both in the same day, three days ago. It’s a fairly new switch. I do have the veg option still but I figured I should turn that off to stop encouraging it to veg because it’s a pretty tall auto flower and I’ve used low stress training a lot as you can see. I did measure the PPM and pH of the runoff which I haven’t been doing at all until I had issues and realized my pH dropped to a 5.4 runoff and the PPM was 1100!! Danger levels, I was really shocked since I never go over 250 ppm with watering per 2.5 Liters, the plant being in a 7 gallon black pot with drain tray. Using Foxfarm soil. The nutrients must’ve packed into the soil to densely and as far as Ph goes, I usually pH my tapwater with pH Down before adding it to the soil so the roots could absorb better but I guess it had made it overly acidic overtime. So lately I’ve been flushing it with regular pH from the tap which is 7.5, sometimes 8 in fluctuation. seems to have made the leaf tips stop burning and perk up a little. Maybe a good sign?

Yep, the auto part got lost somewhere in the genetics. I wouldn't go full red right away though, blue will encourage fast growth when you first flip it.

Wow I'm seeing more and more questions exactly like urs. At over 3 months deep its not going to "autoflower". Some times because of attempts to back cross and isolate traits. There isn't enough ruderalis in the offspring genepool to make it autoflower. You have a photoperiod sensitive offspring. Changing to 12/12 will induce flower. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

...how long have you had it in 12 12 for? Also what's your pH? What's your ppm? What are you feeding it? Also...I've been seeing some strains growing for a eye popping 36 weeks....patience I guess lol 👊 😁
