I decided to top the plant and place the cut in a clone dome to try to reveal gender faster (12/12 cycle). But i notice its hollow in the middle, is this normal? Plant is very healthy beside that. Stems is very strong.

More in line with the question and with what ExperimentGreen said, make sure you get no debris in it but that extends also to air, the second tou cut it you want it straight in water kr hormone powder/gel to seal the wound and stop any air getting in, a bubble of air will kill the cut quickly.

Hello. Some confusing answers there. I find that the higher THC strains generally have hollow stems, not all. If you are pruning and haven't flowered yet, this may be a good plant. Keep a eye on it. I've found this type of stem in both hydro and soil grown plants. Good Luck Chuck.

Да, дружище 😃👌 полость в сердцевине - это нормально для взрослого растения на вегетации, как твоё. 😇👌

Very normal! I only grow in soil, and I believe strain determines the makeup of the plant structure. I harvested great grows, and some strains showed this trait

I believe it's common in hydro setups because hydro setups are missing one of the most common elements in soil: silica. Get yourself some Armor Si. Use it sparingly and ALWAYS mix it VERY WELL before you put anything else into your feed. If you don't it will gel your other nutes. Don't worry though, you only need to add very little (1mL/gal works), so if you stir well you will have no issues.

Its very common in cannabis and never really an issue however it seems more prevalent in hydro setups. I did read an article on tomatoes once which stated that its a carbon deficiency which makes sense when you think about it being more prevalent in hydro setups but again it doesn't seem to drastically change anything except perhaps making training older branches a little more difficult without snapping them. Many will say it makes for better water and nutrient transportation but I've not seen any definitive work on this.

Hello Its ok to have those hollow stems. I used to make my 1st clone from the "top " site and often hollow. Just make sure debris or contamination doesn't get in there. If the stems were hollow and weak...then thats a bad sign

Yes that's completely normal, that's where the hemp plants transport the amounts of water they're drinking. Imagine it being a giant straw :) Nice looking plant btw, keep doing what you're doing, Cheers
