Discoloration around buds

Should I be worried about the dark color on the leaves around the buds? What causes this?

2 reasons: genetics, of course. Also phosphorus deficiency. With P deficiency, it's often caused by colder nighttime temperatures which make the plant burn through P like you'll eventually burn through the plant. Add some P and the spread will stop.

Discoloration progressing from old fan to colas, is this a concern/requires action?I have some discoloration happening to OB5,more pics in week 6. Started first on few old fan leaves with yellow & brown/purple patches and now is occurring to the several of the colas and is spreading to more fan leaves. Water pH may have been in the 5-6 range last week. HlpPlz

Weird colors on leaves of buds of second Short Rider I've noticed purple starting from the leaf tips it looks like down the leaf heading towards the stem. Starting to fade? Or nutrient deficiency?One of my plants has several fan leaves that are turning yellow/purple, and I can't tell if it's low on N or starting to fade. The plants are 2 days into week 5 of flower with a 9-10 week flower period, so it seems a little early for it to be turning colors like this.
