2 reasons: genetics, of course. Also phosphorus deficiency. With P deficiency, it's often caused by colder nighttime temperatures which make the plant burn through P like you'll eventually burn through the plant. Add some P and the spread will stop.

What’s this dark coloring?One leaf, well on fact just one finger has this darkish coloring. It doesn’t look to different from typical end of life leaf coloring it’s just exceptionally dark. Deficiency or Change to Purple?started using the new “Purpinator“by Terpinator. Used Terp for a time and I trust the brand. That being said I have a weird thing popping up on my Dos Si Dos. Can’t tell if this is the switch finally happening or a Deficiency. Never seen a purple color show up for Deficiency.

Starting to fade? Or nutrient deficiency?One of my plants has several fan leaves that are turning yellow/purple, and I can't tell if it's low on N or starting to fade. The plants are 2 days into week 5 of flower with a 9-10 week flower period, so it seems a little early for it to be turning colors like this.

Leaf discolorationThere is a purple/blue tint to the tips of my older leaves. New growth coming in lighter green. Slightly red and purples stems only at base of oldest leaves.
