So amber trichomes still get you high? Ive had people tell me not really.... If so.. once they go amber, how long are trichomes still good. How long does it take them break down not get you high?

thricomes have 3 stages: clear, white / cloudy, amber. Clear thricomes are not yet mature, cloudy are at their peak THC content and amber are degrading. The best harvesting time is cloudy where you get the best of your strain. Amber thricomes are by definition less potent than when cloudy.

Amber trichomes get you STONED.
Cloudy trichomes get you HIGH.
Clear trichomes get you ENERGETIC/CREATIVE.
Ambar trichomes will not be destroyed that easily indoors, they will pop, just like a bubblegum balloon, but the material is all still there, if you leave it for too long like an extra month after they pop, ofc the light intensity will eventually do them some damage and their degradation will decrease their potency.
Imagine the cristal as caramel making bubbles, it cooks, it bubbles, it pops and eventually it burns.
