Why did my girl sprout out so far under the soil? Is it possible I dropped it in with the root pointing up???? Wondering if it will still survive?

Liquid Oxygen Would you all use this in your water when trying to give oxygen to the roots? I’m noticing some really dense, not drying up that quickly soil so it’s making me think that they can’t breath. I don’t know, just making sure every part of the plant is happy & healthy.
