No worries she looks healthy. I guess you defoliated some of the leaves closer to the bottom which might (as I don't know why, when, how) stall the growth.
You can ease on defoliation and you are growing outdoors and the sun will penetrate anyway :)

A little thin, as you said, but the plant looks happy and healthy. I don't think you should have any worries, just make sure she's getting enough nitrogen and has good pH'd water.
