Unhappy Seedling
Eagersstarted grow question 4 years ago
Plant is day 10 now and growing fairly slowly compared to most (atleast it feels that way) noticed it suddenly started growing at an unusual angle today. I recently added a small fan for a light breeze, VERY light. humidity at 50-60% and kept between 18 - 26 degrees. Any ideas?

That seedling is not getting enough light, therefor it is stretching towards the lightsource.

Ok I will give it a good drying, it seems to have become very light in the pot so figured I would water. Maybe best to leave until plant shows it needs it, do you have any early signs to look for when seedlings need water other than that?
Yes very confusing...has been given 18 hours of light, 8 in sunlight in windows in the day then the other 10 under light. So maybe in the day its stretching towards sun in window? Thanks for all replies!

Very leggy seedling, now thinking maybe the roots arent even up to having a fan on them just yet. Maybe the fan has caused them to uproot. Have turned off fan for the night to see if corrected by the morning. Any suggestions? Thanks

Stem Damage in High Winds/Tropical StormsI live in Thailand, it's very hot a the moment so we are prone to tropical storms. When this happens it's very windy.
I am concerned this will cause damage to the stem of the plant/s. Is it advisable to use a stake to support the plant stem, or will the plant just deal with it?

Heavy overwatering by Autopot system during vacationAfter 7 days of vacation and my first try of the Autopot system I noticed heaviest overwatering by the autopot. Dead BudThis bud looks bad: Twisted leaves and dark edges, the pistils are all orange and the bud isnt growing anymore, it looks a bit dry.
This situation started suddenly this week and is slowly getting worse every day, none of the other buds seem to have been affected.
Should i cut it?

Seedling falling overIf my seedling looks too heavy…like it’s about to fall over, should I brace it with a tooth pick or just let it be? Did I over water it?
I ended up just pushing some of the top soil up against the stem to brace it for now. Hopefully this will strengthen soon
