Almost ripe?

I looked at the trichomes through a microscope - on the main cola, there are a lot of amber and milky trichomes. The hairs are actively drying, but there's probably 2-3 weeks until harvest.
Maybe in a week I should start giving ripen? Assess the readiness of my plant.

She's moving along very quickly, but I believe you have closer to 4-5 weeks. Remember, she will add a lot of weight in the last 2 weeks so it's important not to harvest too early. Some strains will spend less than 8 weeks in flower, but I haven't seen many, and I've seen none that would be better off if the grower had just waited a little longer.

10% amber trichomes mean you can harvest. I prefer 25% for a more relaxed effect. Keep in mind that 25% is 1 in 4, so its quite a bit.
