It's your first grow, so don't expect it to be perfect. Just have some fun with it while you learn,. Cannabis is a very hardy plant, it'll survive almost everything, tho obviously at reduced growth and yield in the end. So don't be scared to make mistakes, what's important is to learn from what you do right and wrong.

Don't overwater. No nutes until the cotyledons start yellowing. Start nutes at a quarter strength. Get a pH and EC meter, they're invaluable. Don't flush at the end. Don't try to solve problems immediately unless you're 100% sure, it's much easier to diagnose after a little progression. Leaves that show some toxicity/deficiency rarely return to their original color so aim to stop the spread, dont expect the leaves to change back. Read a lot and take everything I and others tell you with a grain of salt. If someone gives you an answer, take their answer and research the validity before listening blindly. Have fun!!!
