Clones vegetation outdoor, flowering indoor?

Goldbud
Goldbudstarted grow question 4 years ago
My clones will grow outdoor for the next 6-8 weeks (need to keep them small), after that I will put them into my growbox for flowering, early autumn is not warm enough where I am living so I came to this idea. Is there anything I need to take care when doing this?

keep them in smaller pots, limit amount of light wihtout allowing stretching... feed less than normal (proportional to light reduction)... all of this will help impede growth without causing too many issues over 6-8 weeks. extended time in a small pot isn't good -- and a fabric pot would be better due to air pruning of roots. train them..can keep them small but wider -- but that can be a problem too. Worse comes to worst, you prun them back to intended size before you bring them inside. As long as you don't cut off more than 1/3rd of the plant, it likely won't be shocked too much. between all of that, you can keep them smaller and fairly healthy. maybe ramp up light and nutes cycle a week early? as well as a transplant, if size doesn't prohibit that.

Just make sure you bring them in before the light hours outside start to become less and less every day. A Neem oil solution with organic insecticidal soap can help protect your plants from bugs so you can move them worry free! Happy growing!
