Speed of outgoing TD Silent

Do you adjust the ventilator speed over time? I have a TD Silent with 5 possible speeds and keep the lowest speed at night (so I can sleep) and on 3 or 4 during day to be sure. Is there a trick to find the best yet lowest speed?

If it's in a tent, you only need enough speed for it to suck in the walls a little bit when the tent is completely closed. If it doesnt, you need to close off a few vents or turn up the speed.

Lights airstone c02What light to plant distance would you set it at? The only test I've done is at 25 inches its stable at 80°f and 75% humidity. When I lower it to 18 inches, the tent read 85°f and 73 humidity.
Other question I have is what's your favorite air stone(disk)?
