I'm after a new duct fan. Needs to push at least 400m3 per hour. And the main criteria is noise. Below 21dba would be the dream.. curious to what folks use and if I see one that meets my criteria I will buy it.

@Y0ink 40dba is way too loud.. @growcn. I looked but I don't think they are particularly quiet unless run low rpm. @dasboof those fans look more like what I want. The actual deadening material built into the unit is what I want and the website is very informative with actual dB at particular frequency.. I will go that route. Thanks all.👍🏻

AC Infinity Cloudline (if you are in N. America) all the way. I think the fans are sold in Europe by Mars Hydro. The models with digital controls are really worth the money as you can program the fan to go on/off based on the tent's temperature and humidity. I have several of their fans and normally run them at level 3-5 (out of 10) and they are super quiet. When you get to the higher power settings there is no escaping the fact that the air itself is making more noise than the fan. If you want quiet over size your fan so you can operate it in at a slower speed and still get the airflow you want.

I'm using an Infinity T6. I cannot hear it unless it's turned up over #5.
