Hey Growmie, My opinion on Cal-Mag is it's a wonderful product and when used correctly it's very beneficial to the plant and it prevents any calcium/magnesium deficiencies, along with providing a slight bit of nitrogen. In your case, if the plant isn't showing any problems there's no need to add unnecessary nutrients. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember " Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time ".

Hey friend, if all looks good, dont be adding anything. You only add cal/mg if you see they need it, but you need to know if they need it or something else is causing those elements from being available. If you see problems, check your runoff ph and ec levels and make sure your proper on those levels. If everything looks good and you see cal/mg deficiency starting in the leaves, then you need to add a little. Never react to leaf problems until you know what's going on in the root system. Cheers friend

hi, Most calmag products contain Nitrogen ( N).... and your Plant already looks darkgreen. But you can get calmag products without N too. for example from canna... they have liquid, single products.... cacium and magnesia Or you get to the supermarket, get some magnesia tablets and calcium tablets and delute them into water Ive done that for long time and it works wonderful I used to mix my ladies aBENEFICAL MIX MADE FROM ALOE LEAVES; ALGAE calcium tabs, magnesia tabs and Silica........ that helps to have fresh and healthy plants... you can see the mix in my diary " cookies for me"
