First ever grow need defoliating advice please week 8 autoflower any advice or thoughts on how I'm doing so far also appreciated, many thanks!

Hi guys my first ever grow in my homemade cardboard box with cheap led light I csnt believe it's even worked! Done a lot of research and was wondering if anyone could tell me should I be defoliating and if so which leaves how many etc? I'm a newbie to it all thanks alot!

Judging from the photos ... Yes. This is going to help with airflow and it helps flower sites that aren't getting enough light get adequate light. I do it all the time to my autoflowers works like a charm. Just don't do any after week 3 of flower it could cause unwanted stress. Hey!
They're doing pretty good given the conditions you've mentioned, great job!
Normally when defoliating it's just the big fan leaves but I recommend you don't do anything and just let her do her thing.
Autos can get stressed quite easily and you wouldn't want that in flower that could cause her to stunt and not fully develop the buds.

You are about half way in flower. They will defoliate themselves at this point. No sense in stressing the plant right now

Main versus secondary maturingThis secondary lower buds seem to be maturing faster than the main colas. The pistils are turning dark faster on the lower than the upper. Not by much, but it's noticeable. Maybe a week or so? BUT, should I take the secondary buds first and leave the main colas to mature more?

These have been grown in 91 degree heat for their entire time growing. I can't change that the heat killed off some trichomes. But what is your opinion on the doneness of the trichomes that are there? If the pics are not clear enough I can use my real camera versus my phone. THX

Over 10 years of growing and somehow I've ended up with ditch weed ? quite disappointing temps got a bit high and an overfeed did occur which was sorted quickly yet no thc development on buds hardly any trichomes is it possible I just got a bad seed ? this is the worst I've done.

Shoukd i Harvest the Mimosa Auto?Hi! I don't know when to harvest the Minosa Auto. On the Website of RQS it is written that after 10 Week the plant is ready to harvest. Some of the older leaves shown a high amount of amber trichomes. But the Buds dont't look like at their maximum of growth.

Different Phenotypes?2 plants from the same seed type purchased together. They look really different. I thought the one with the swollen calyxes was hermed, but research said otherwise. But one has trichomes and decent smell while the other has faint smell and no trichomes to speak of. Thoughts?

I believe it is calcium deficiency also could be Manganese from the pictures. I did not add CalMag during the first weeks.
Usually Calcium deficiency shows after 4 weeks and during flower but not likely in soil.
Started around 6th week

When to harvest?Beginner question:
Would you say this is ready to harvest soon or should I wait some more? Leaves turning autumn colors, 3/4 of pistils turned orange.
Trichomes look rather clear, but some on the head bud are amber already.
RQS says 8-9 weeks. Starting week 9 soon.

Colas to close to each other?I am a little bit worried about the colas growing quite close to each other, and quite dense (the side branches are basically all start to grow into the main bud of the cola). Should we do something to get a bit more space and ventilation inbetween? (more pics and video in diary)
