i'd look for what you are trying to do. Only a few ppl read over these questions compared to what goes down in all the diaries. Try some keyword searches.
I did a perpetual garden for a bit... i did not like it. You can do as well or better withut it. Unless always growing the same clone you either end up wasting weeks of electricity or having wrong-sized plants etc etc.. logistics of it with with differing variables for vege and bloom time per strain makes it difficult in a smaller garden.
Each to their own.. if maximizing production is way down on list, can ignore everything i just said. If concerned about yield in a small space, keep it simple and do full runs. Can overlap a portion with seedlings ready to go... if you have a smaller 2nd light for seedlings, can knock off 2-4 weeks off each cycle with little effort.
