Is power-usage data a reliable way to monitor the condition of a HPS light globe?

Noticed a fading trend on the 600 Hps power graph. The highest usage the globe was new, the usage since lessens a small amount most days.
Is that a reliable method to monitor the condition of a light globe? Is the gradually-reducing power usage due to globe degrading?

Yeah, unfortunatley their only good for a year max. The cmh bulbs are good for 2 years or longer with little degradation. Cheers

But if you have a super lumens setting, that will through more lumens than when the bulb was new, for a little while anyways. It's good to use that setting your last run with that bulb. Cheers
