Made it through 7 weeks of flower and the girls are really starting to show themselves. Twisted helix just sucks. Trying to push her another week then she will be made into bubble hash. Sugar Cane is the frostiest of the bunch but buds are pretty small compared to others. Jack Herer has the fattest buds of the bunch and a strong lemon aroma. Platinum jelly is looking nice and frosty. Twisted velvet appears to be a little behind the others but looking nice. I am thinking that the blackcherry punch will be the winner of this grow. Her buds are just covered in beautiful frost and they are also pretty fat and plump. Looks like she is going to put off a nice yield.
I have started harvesting pollen from sugar cane clones and dusting the breeder clones. I gave them their first pollination a few days ago, the second today, and will dust them again in a few days. I have been collecting individual pollen sacs as they mature to speed up the process and try to maximize the amount of pollen I can store for later use. It is like trying to do brain surgery on an ant ๐๐. I am already seeing a lot of pistils start to brown so things are looking good.
The only benefit derived from using flour i can think of would be related to environmental moisture... but should be prep'd for long-term storage in that way (mostly dry) and sealed, regardless?
ELEVEN FUCKING OUNCES?????!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow dude, thats got my eye. I have no idea what to expect out of coco, and led, but man, I hope I get yields like that!!! Nice grow and harvest
@BudXs, she was one of the bigger plants of the bunch. Definitely earned her keep on this round. A couple of the others won't yield near as much but looks like the quality is there.
@GreenHouseLab, I was originally going to breed each strain individually but I figured it would be a lot easier to just dust everyone with pollen from the super frosty sugarcane pheno. I guess it's all experimental. We will see what happens
@Wicked_Stix, To be honest, I had never heard of them and got them as freebies. The more I research, the more excited I get to run these genetics! Peace, love, and happy growing! โฎ๏ธโฅ๏ธ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ
@FoTwenny, Thanks! They are some pretty impressive genetics. I have several more of their strains lined up to run. They are impossible to resist! I am sure you will love the results on yours. Best of luck with them!
@Bigrobbud, I use maxigro and maxibloom. It holds the pH steady all week after the initial adjustment. I also use a little liquid koolbloom and Beastie bloomz in flower and they don't affect the pH. I have tried a lot of nutrient combinations and most won't hold a stable ph
@Tragen353, Thanks! The jack is looking like it is going to put on some fat colas. Hard to go wrong with seedsmans strains. Good luck with your jack grow!
Loving the look of that Jack. Have a couple of those seeds and may do those next. Will follow along. Your grows lookin good though mang. Looking forward te seeing what the stretch on those will be.
