Autoflowering need 18h of light to flower , so you can plant your seedling and get it grow, measure the right distance to your lamp in relation to the intensity

if your trying to trigger your autos to flower with 12 12, you might want stick with the clone dome plan for two weeks until you see pistols on your big girls. Once you see pistols i would switch it back to 18/6 and move the babies in

I have been thinking this whole time your seedlings are not Autos. Either way why are you running 12/12 on your auto? Just change your lights to 18/6 and move your seedlings in. Your auto doesn't need 12/12 and its better at 18/6 with seedlings in there.

there are folks who do 12-12 from seed (some SOG growers) but I wouldn't personally do that. If you try you'll get very small yield and potentially a sickly baby. I would say just get a cheep dome with a small grow light over your seedlings. The dome will help keep them at 90% humidity. Once they are about 2 weeks old I would make a small veg area outside of your 12/12 flowering tent to get her about 5 weeks before moving into the 12/12 tent. Somewhat it depends on the style you want to grow..mainlining, scrog, etc

I had to flip to 12/12 to get my 8 week old autoflower to flower. Is 12/12 fine for seeding and the whole time?

one more thing i forgot...I assumed your doing 18/6 because you are running an auto. If you are doing longer light dep on your flowering then you def want your seedlings in seperate environment so they can maintain 18/6. Running your flowering autos at 18/6 is fine though too.

Hi Autogrowz, if your seedlings are able to be 24" from the light (or more) while your flowering plant is 18" away from your light they should be fine. I prefer to run my Mars Hydro at about 25-50% intensity when they are seedlings and veg. Be careful to keep an eye on your seedlings, if your light is running at 75-100%. Your seedlings will burn if you have them too close and light too intense. You should be good to go though as long as you are strategic with plant placement. Of course (apologies for stating the obvious) if you are planning on sharing a resevoir or feeding this will be bad, so make sure if you are doing hydro you keep the seed seperate from your water going to the flowering plant. Happy growing to you!
