Seed In Water Temperature?

What is the best temperature to keep seed soaking in water at? I have it in dark around 70 F. Thank you very much happy growing cheers!

Hey you are spot on. 70 is a good temp and nice and dark. I try and keep them in the water for about 16/18 hours and then a paper towel until the tap root is about 1/2inch. Happy growing

How long should it take for germinated seeds to break the surface?I’ve never had issues germinating/sprouting seedlings up until this point, These plants all had very nice tap roots and were planted roughly 1/4”-1/2” below the surface. Until this grow ive never had one seed not take.
