You can experiment if you really want. I've heard of people doing 24/8 schedules and 20/6... I went with 18/6 and that worked out very well. I think the most important thing is to keep a schedule. Don't give them 24/0 and randomly decide to shut the lights off for 8 hours. I've heard of people starting at 20 hours and doing something like giving them 10 minutes of extra darkness every day until the plants finish or you hit 12/12. Point is: find out what works best for you and don't be afraid to experiment.

What Chevron wrote.. You can eaasily give them 24 hours of light, with darkness afterwards.. Or 36 hours, or however much you want.. Just do it consistently. Don't be afraid to try new things, but stick to a schedule when experimenting. Correlation is hard to figure out, if you're sporadic and change things on the fly.

If u don’t wont to make some experiment or strange stuff, i like give 18/6 for save on bill and give the plant some rest and the right ammount of light, don’t worry if u have started with 24/0 , change on 18/6 and it will be fine, maybe you can slowly go to a 12/12 cycle for the end of the flowering to save on bill but this i don’t know if it will riduce your yeald, hope to be useful and comprensive ✌️🏽
