It can increase the potency some but enough to notice a difference? I do know after 24 hours of darkness the entire plant shrinks a little, buds included. Personal preference. Cheers

The difference leaving in darkness makes is 1-3%increases in thc or slightly different terpenes can produce. I have seen a study on it and it can make a small difference but not notibly by the human eye. As long as you let the soil dry out first and still keep your extraction and air flow on the risk of mould would be no greater. 🌱👍

It has been proven that it does not work, it's just an old myth, but if you want to try why not? darkness would not give you mold if you keep your plants well ventilated so
if you want to try just keep that in mind :D

I have done this and didn’t notice a difference to be honest if left 24 or 48 hours. I know some say it increases resin production but I have not noticed this.

Trichomes don’t matureI’m flushing slowly, has been almost two week now. Just water with PH between 6.5 and 6.8. The plant seems ready, pistils are brown for 70%, yellow leaves are dropping off, but I don’t get why trichomes are still transparent, they aged slowly compared to the rest. Is it normal?

Main versus secondary maturingThis secondary lower buds seem to be maturing faster than the main colas. The pistils are turning dark faster on the lower than the upper. Not by much, but it's noticeable. Maybe a week or so? BUT, should I take the secondary buds first and leave the main colas to mature more?

Over 10 years of growing and somehow I've ended up with ditch weed ? quite disappointing temps got a bit high and an overfeed did occur which was sorted quickly yet no thc development on buds hardly any trichomes is it possible I just got a bad seed ? this is the worst I've done.
