Methods to go from seed to clay pebbles

I personally recommend just starting in the final pot with the clay. I also prefer rapid rooter cubes to rockwool in order to avoid rockwools tendency to stay too wet and produce algae. You can water directly for the first week. By then, the ring should hot the roots.

https://generalhydroponics.com/waterfarm This is what i am using. The water level's stay lower then dwc and a bulk of the roots stay in the pebbles. I have thought about flooding them, but also i don't think that is the correct way to use these. I may be wrong though.

Are your roots sitting in water, like a dwc?

Hey I grow all my plants this way. I start in Rockwell, then transfer over to clay peddles. I keep them in rockwell only until the tap root is coming out of the bottom of the Rockwell. Once it is coming out of the bottom, I then move her over to the peddles. I make sure my water line just touches the bottom of the Rockwell so the root can really take off downward. I make sure my air stone is going at about half power for the first bit and then turn it up. Hope that helps and happy growing

The concern is getting the roots to grow out of the rockwool into the pebbles when the drip ring doesn't really disperse any water to the center. Am i stuck watering manually until the roots get into the pebbles or is there something i am missing?
