Commercial grows use CO2 till end of week 7 when ripening stage starts. During week 1 - ripening using CO2 has the most advantages, during stretch flowerdevelopent and bulk this is the time were you want to speed up the metabolism. Remember when you have enough light good conditions and co2 you will also need to feed more to keep them happy. Never heard about using candles for co2 btw :D What my guess is about stopping co2 before the crucial time of flower development having it used before could result in a loose product in the end. The plants got all the extras durning veg, developed wide juice channels and than suddenly there are not as many nutrients and co2 comming what they need to keep up there photosynthetic rate. If you wouldn’t lower your ec when you remove co2 this could result in nutrient toxicity. Cutting out co2 would definitely impact/deminish your potential harvest. Would it stress the plant? Yes in a certain way, plants like stable conditions but are able to adept to lots of stuff, in my opinion its not as severe as light leakage stress wich turns them into hermies messing up the whole harvest

Unless you are growing in a sealed system, extra co2 is nonsense.

extra co2 isn't stressful. if the DLI also doesn't increase and possibly concentration of your nutes (observe and adjust), then you won't take advantage of the extra CO2 in atmosphere. Also, you VPD probably needs to be higher at this point with supplemental co2. You want to be closer to 27-30C with approriate RH%. 1-1.2 with a mature vege plant. there's a wide range of suggestions out there... whatever you decide on, shoot for that VPD at 27-30C with excess CO2, if you can. This is why you often hear it is not cost-effective to add co2. You ahve to tightly control environment and other hassles to make proper use of it. Although using a candle, assuming heat is not an issue, would be a very cheap way to add co2 and not scary for your health, like a gas-burning option that requires a CO2 alarm, lol. No risk of death from a candle.

If anything CO2 would be more useful in flower as its growing so fast and bulking up. I don't think CO2 is useful in indoor grows for hobbyist growers. Its more a pro thing in sealed rooms with everything dialed in. I also would not want a single candle burning all the time in my place, shit could start a fire and releases a lot of soot. better to just get some cans of CO2 and a regulator to release it based on levels in the tent. But as soon as you vent out the air its wasted product.

No there is no harm in stopping g support , just keep air flowing.

The plant creates co2 at night as a by product of cellular respiration. Bigger it gets more co2 she emits. She will eat it during the day and build a reserve during the night. 9 cardinal rules of growth must be optimized before co2 will benefit in anyway. Are you even measuring ppfd? No point with co2 unless you are gauging ppfd and pushing the limits. Air Air Air. 0.04% of which is co2 Think of the ppm like a supply of goods. If it starts at 400 ppm and the plant uses it all. To renew all you need to do is replace the fresh air. Just supply constant supply of 0.04% air and your plant can never run out. You are actively trying to increase the concentrations of co2 to from 0.04% to 0.1% Unless your pushing everything else your plant will grow no differently than it was growing at 400 ppm. Good luck she look healthy and vigorous, nice spacing with sattelite leaves.
