What would be the best improvement I could make to my setup, given the current state of my plant? Growth from the beginning has felt slow.

It will grow buds but most likely they'll be small, my first couple grows were under burple lights and yielded low . The problem is root mass if it's growing slow it means there's not enough light and the root mass isn't great. More roots more fruits. I would upgrade to a spider or mars as soon as poss. To finish your current grow or for your next one. My friend uses the mars hydro fc3000 and gets great results in a 1m x1m. I will always recommend the AC infintiy lightsbut they're quite pricey.

Thanks for the confirmation. I’ve seen blurples keep plants alive but making them grow is another story. I’d love to upgrade the light asap, just wanted to leave room for someone to say “nah, just get some ________, the lights fine”. Haven’t harvested under blurple yet, should I expect straight larf? Is it worth getting a much nicer light to grow with (me as a grower not the plant) or would the basic mars or spider light be enough to not outgrow it too quickly.

That light probably claims 1000 watt when in reality would pull 50 to 100 watts from the wall. Your set up is good just need to upgrade your light. Go for a white light LED board. Mars hydro have some decent deals on. Burple lights just give slow growth and low yield it's old tech.

Considerations: I’m growing under a Amazon blurple. I’m using the “hempy bucket” method with 100% perlite I’m using well water that measures ph7 120ppm before adjustment My seed (and my last failed seed) came from a seed swap (last was male) I’m using general hydroponics flora line (not fresh) I just switched to 12/12 For my next grow, ideally: I’d get a better light Fabric pots, Wanna switch to quality soil I have many other seeds, some more reputable than others I will likely plant as many as I can fit If you have any advice for the current grow or what I can do next time, it’s appreciated. I’d like to find the culprit of my slow growing plants. Where’s the vigor?
