Is this normal growth for a mail-lined plant?

I mainlined 8 colas on both plants. Each one has a small stem growing at the beginning of each cola. Is that normal growth for a main-line? I thought at this stage it would be just 8 long colas.
Should I remove them or just leave them?

Yes it's normal, you can choose to remove. I removed those this low on my current mainline, but keeping a few further up to LST to the middle. It's about preferance and space i would say. It could give the main colas more focused energy if you remove, but i see it's a debated topic if it will yield equal or more if you keep.

Should I switch to 12/12 lighting? - Autoflowers not showing pistils after 5 weeksGrowing five plants (germinated Sept 8) including 3 Anvil and 2 BlackStrap autoflower strains from Mandalorian Genetics. Watering IssueI have issue with watering. Soil is not dry easily.I water 1liter to her at the night of 12.10.2021. And soil is still moist till today morning 18.10.2021 as u can seen in photo. Is just normal?
Growing medium is 60%soil, 30%coco and 10% perlite. Average RH is always around 64%Week 3
