Is this normal growth for a mail-lined plant?

I mainlined 8 colas on both plants. Each one has a small stem growing at the beginning of each cola. Is that normal growth for a main-line? I thought at this stage it would be just 8 long colas.
Should I remove them or just leave them?

Yes it's normal, you can choose to remove. I removed those this low on my current mainline, but keeping a few further up to LST to the middle. It's about preferance and space i would say. It could give the main colas more focused energy if you remove, but i see it's a debated topic if it will yield equal or more if you keep.

So I switched my lights out 4 days ago from the mars 600 to the mars 2000. Light is 18” from canopy@65-70% power. I preformed a res change 3 days before the pictures,also topped,Lst and some defoliant.I’m not sure what’s happened but I have yellowing on the new leaves. ??Week 4

Should auto's be planted into final pots or is a transplant or even two better for healthy root growth? Whatcha all think?Soo ive unsure on whether autos should be started in there final pots? can a plant be "frozen in time" (mid flowering) or is she just slow?These 2 are the same age, but one is more advanced than the other.
