So, I've an idea. With this plant I'm doing mainline right! Sooo, to get quicker growth with her being an auto will it be okay to take the 1 set of nodes off, and whatever grows after until I've reached the nodes I want to mainline, this wuld be ok and speed process right?

Each fan leaf is food. If you strip the small growth that happens between the main stock then yes. But keep as many leaves as possible. Once you strip that growth the energy from the fan leaf gets diverted to the next node

Wait your mainlining an Auto?? Umm, why? You wont have time to train it before it flowers, forget it and just let it grow naturally with some LST. No one main lines Autos and theres very good reason for this-it doesnt work. it can take 4-6 weeks to grow out a good main line base- and with an auto your in flower by then. Dont do it buddy- unless your happy to see under an oz total wet yield.

I often take the bottom node off regardless as it seems to never grow as thick and well as the nodes above it. If you’re set on doing a mainline.. go for it. But it’s a risky proposition on auto. I would recommend just topping when you want and then let the branches grow out, once they’ve got some length, tie them down. But more than one topping on an auto can seriously throw off your yield and quality. If you just are wanting to experiment and don’t care about how the end product is.. more power to ya! Try it out. But if you want decent results I wouldn’t go beyond a single topping.

@gottagrowsometime interesting!! not sure if I have seen an auto mainlined before 😏 if you do remove the top wait until the 4th node and keep an eye on whether she reacts by beginning to bloom regardless of the outcome Good Luck!! 👍
