Hey Guys, So I've been putting house and gardens amino treatment and root accelerator gold into my res and now I'm paranoid I have root rot. res is hella cold at 63 usually and they don't seem to be slimy aside from the gunk on them that I think is those additives. Is it normal?

I use Remo nutrients and I get the same thing sometimes. It’s like a brown gunk on the roots but not slimy and rinses off. Doesn’t ever seem to hurt my plants, but I was worried when I first saw this too. It is normal I believe with some nutrients, I just rinse it off when I see it.

Just taken a look at your roots and they are "hella" white 😉
Question? Do you flush your pebbles before use?
I have the same discoloration on a few of my girls when I either forget to flush or do not flush the pebbles adequately.
I would not worry too much at this point. If it spreads and has a bad odour, I'd worry.
Adding some bennies will definately help paranoia.

RH in the tent has been quite low, around 15/20%.

Flushed then added silver bullet root and liquid oxygen in water
Roots look to have showed new growth but plant looks still to be suffering

ID this pest - bulb mite?Trouble in paradise. Issues with new growth on a few plants in my 2nd tent. Rather suddenly. Past experience lead me to suspect a pest eating my roots (no, not a deficiency). Checked soil. Bingo. Bulb mite? Best way to attack issue? I have 3 weeks before these go outdoors. Neem?5y

Persistent issues - wilted leaves, light-green splotches, brown rootsMy plant has these issues. I've rinsed off the roots in case it was nutrient buildup on roots, which I still believe to be the case. I have given this plant a good amount of nutrients the week before. Does this appear to be a deficiency? Any ideas?

White mold?My smart pot is turning white at the bottom. There also appears to be roots trying to pop through. I put rocks between the pot and plate for air. I have one blade of grass and a tiny weed popping up, so conditions at the top of the pot are okay. Should be worried?5y

How prevent root rot in dwc sterile reswas wondering what everyone uses in there dwc to keep there roots happy... I been using beneficial bacteria southern ag garden friendly fungicide...But have see people using h202 and was wondering how that worked and what kind of h202 they use..I have also used hydroguard along with keeping water temps
in check...southern ag is just cheaper then hydroguard ..Just looking for someone who runs a sterile dwc reservoir and how they go about doing it and in cost effective way.. I have also seen people say they have used pool shock kinda sacred of that.... ON my next grow wanting try run a sterile reservoir and help would be appreciated5y

hydrogen peroxide to do or not to do that is the question?anyone have any positive results from using hydrogen peroxide in their resevior tank. im sure if your using organic nutes its probably not a great idea because HP breaks down organic matter into o2 but im not using organic nutes and my thought was to use it to control alge?Week 9
