Hey friend,
Reflective surfaces allow you to capture otherwise lost light.
You will not double it however, light follows the inverse square law meaning its efficacy drop exponentially over distance, or by being reflected. That being said, adding mirrors to all sides can be of great benefit, this is why growtents have reflective surfaces.

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Plug timer running fastMy plug timeris running about 10 fast each 24hr. And is now at about 2 hours past the actual time. This causes the light cycle to shift forward slightly everyday. Should I set it back to the correct time, leave it be or buy a new one? It is plugged vertically in wall socket.
