DO YOU USE LED DIMMER?

According to my experience, it's not necessary to have the light at 100% throughout the entire process. -Seed 50% -Veg 75% -Flower 100% This way, you'll save a bit on electricity. Depending on the amount of heat your light emits, you'll have to place it closer or further away. In my case, it's at 75% and about 45-50cm from the plants. You can check out my diary. Hi, The more light the plant gets the bigger it will grow. I am using a mars ts 1000 and haven't turn down the dimmer. If you are going with the dimmer at full, try keeping the light away from the top canopy or it will bun ur leaves. Happy grow!!!

I just picked up the Spider Farmer SF2000 and I’m using the dimmer switch on it. First time using it so I went roughly by their recommendations and started at 30” from canopy at 30% for seedlings. Slowly increased to 80% and dropped light to 24” over 6 weeks of veg. Haven’t flipped to flower yet but they vegged great and have been happy the whole time. Another perk is the savings on electricity from using the dimmer as opposed to just raising the lights.
