Hi I’m going to be flushing the girls soon as I think I’ve only got a couple of weeks left. I’m using Biobizz soil and Nutes. When flushing should I allow heavy run off with each flush? Should I stop the CalMag too? Biobizz say run off during flushing isn’t necessary, Any advice?

I would say run offs are necessary during flushing. In that way, you will actually flush away all the nutrients from the soil ...and not just into the saucer so it will be sucked back up by the plant. Also, if you water heavily and often with no run offs you might overwater your plant. I would also very strongly recommend using Canna Flush to get rid of all excessive nutrients!

You don’t have to flush organic but yes stop using cal mag during flush if you are too!

I have found minimal run off is needed with bio bizz, I tried 20% run off and no run off and didn’t notice a difference in flavour or ash colour. I tried this again on another grow and different strain and again no noticeable difference. With other types of mediums I flush 20%, just seems with the biobizz there is little to be gained but the 20% run off is generally considered the correct standard as our Canadian friend rightly mentions in the other reply. Hope this helps pal👍

Hey, This is a pretty solid resource. https://www.rxgreentechnologies.com/rxgt_trials/flushing-trial/ Personally, I stop everything at once, down to zero, 14 days before intended harvest. I would stick to a 20% runoff, however. Hope this helps,
