If your using fox farm ocean forest it runs hot, this happened with some of my seedlings, it'll work itself out jus keep an eye on it.

I read that you can slow down vertical growth by ring barking, which means putting a collar on the stem before flowering. Has anyone used this method? Does it work? Are there any nuances or tricks? Auto of Photo?Guys this auto plant didn't start flowering for 7 weeks. With your help I decided that it's not an auto and switched to 12/12. after 8 days It started flowering a little but at night hours the leaves are looking down, plant looks sad. Maybe it's an auto?

lil g is doing better the 2nd time. 1st pic is before 1st harvest in December. 2nd is the shoot that had grown under the bud which i left at harvest.
