4th week in clay started today and I topped 2/3 of my girls and I will keep one intact just in case they dont like cutting. Ec still ~1.9ms/cm and I will boost nutrient levels after recovery.( 5.12 added nutrients and now Ec 2.3, lets see what happens) Soon my new cree leds should arrive and I can really start growing my girls

Week started with second toppings to two of my girls and the last one can grow a day or day before topping that one too. Ive been reading about bioponics and I think I might have some bacterial activity going on in my system. Some bubbles/foam have formed to my reservoir and pH has gone up to 6.5 and EC has dropped 0.5 in just two days. Im not going to do anything about it just yet cos the plants aint showing any signs of problems except curling leaves but I think the reason for that is too low/constantly changing humidity. New lights came this week and during this week the plants have been showing some symptoms and they have been getting worse. I think it is nitrogen toxicity and I have diluted my nutrient water by ~15%

Lowered the EC of my solution and now waiting to see the results. Mid week I modified my system and I changed it from Ebb & Flow to drip feed 'cos my bottom hole got blocked and the water wasn't rising enough. Also I think my girls are getting better from toxicity but it could also just be potassium deficiency. Still learning all this shit

New week started and I lifted the lights 10cm higher, cos the girls are showing weird symptoms and I want to remove light stress out of it. Nutrients diluted about 33% and added 35g of MgSO4 Day 2 / Week 7 Girls are getting much better. I lifted the lights additional 20cm just to be sure and already added the Scrog net. Day 3 / Week 7 Growing strong and fast but still showing some leaf cupping and new growth turning yellow on tips. Im going to try to lower the humidity a little bit cos it has been ~70% RH Day 4 / Week 7 Adjusted the lights and added some seaweed extract cos I read so much good about it.

Today I added one 100W light more so now I have total power of 300W Girls are growing strong and maybe next week is time for flower? Havent done anything to my nuitrients, only added more bacteria to reservoir. Day 3 Some of the leaves are getting yellow and tips are burning. I think that my lights were too close and it is light stress from that added 100W led so I spread them wider and lifted a little bit. Day 4 Ec was 1.7 so I diluted it with only water and additives (Golden nectar, Supervit, Silicon max) Ec is back to 1.5. Also I removed some lower leaves from two of the girls cos they were getting in my way all the time and I would like to see how they react to this. Adjusted the fans today also cos leaf tips are turning more yellow and burning so I want to remove some stress from them. Day 5 Added 8 liters of water with additives and MgSO4, 'cos friend said they might be suffering from magnesium deficiency. Also took some clones today and removed all the extra growth tips to promote the growth of all the tops. I probably wont touch 'em anymore until its time for flower. Day 6 Added weekly dose of bacteria couple days early and added 50 grams of dextrose just in case the bacteria needs more food. Leaf tips still burning a little bit but still the growth looks healthy. Some slowth in growth but might be from the stress from cutting. Also added some CaCl2 and MgSO4 to my evening foliar spray. Day 7 Last day of the week and preparing for flower. The pH of the reservoir have been steady 6.0 for whole week and I havent done anything to it except today. I dropped it from 6.0 to 5.6 in three sets. First in the morning 6.0 -> 5.8 mid day 5.9 -> 5.7 and finally in the evening 5.7 -> 5.6. The pH have been so stable for whole week so I wanted to give it a little shake to provide all the nutrients needed before flowering.

Hi everyone! This is my first grow and I have no clue how to estimate yield and when should I flip to flowering? My tent is 2'x4' and the plants take abt 1,5'x2,5' now and I have total of 400W power from the CXB3590 leds. Im aiming for quality but I want to use all the space.

dude lol i just was checking out an NFT grow with the same-ish question, right now with three plants that size you can expect anywhere from 250 to 450 gs , but if you wait until you see some kind of vegetative stretch (like a week or two more) where your plants "double" in size , then you can expect much more like 350 to 650 in the same space for a few weeks extra veg. the main idea is filling up your scrog net fully then flipping and maybe using a second layer of scrog netting to optimise. basically you need these extra weeks of veg from the topping and LST that's been done, ultimately the decision is yours , though! hope this helps ! 🚀

Day 1 I've decided that this week I will flip to flowering, but I would like to see some stretch happening before. Now they are focusing energy on growing the leaves. Ec has jumped up and pH lowered little bit. I think my bacteria are breaking some salts and that is causing all of this. Lifted my lights to approximately 60cm from the plants cos they look like they still have magnesium deficiency and/or light stress. Have been foliar feeding them once a day with epsom salt (MgSO4) and golden nectar and supervit. Day 2 Had to add 5l of fresh water with silicon max 'cos pH have dropped to 5.3 and I think my bacteria are doing something with the nutrients and possibly breaking build up salts? Girls are growing good and I think the leaf burning has stopped so I added 4th lamp today and raised the lamps to 75cm from the plants. Ec changing little bit but nothing too big to mention. Day 3 Last day of veg and switched all my timers for flowering that starts next night. Everything looking good. Day 4 / Day 1 12/12 This morning I yet again raised the lights further away from the plants cos girls were still burning a little bit and also they were praying for the light (Leaves straight up to the lights). I underestimated the power of these lights and I'm really really surprised by the strength of these lamps. My huge yield is not going to be dependant on my lighting at least. pH is rising and its 5.8 now and EC is ~1.9. Day 5 / Day 2 12/12 Added 3" tube that goes from the 6" extraction line to almost to bottom of the tent, to recycle the air from extraction fan. The idea of this is to recycle the air so I wont lose so much CO2 that the bags produce and later on when the smell comes I believe that recycling the air through the filter will keep more smell away. I have waaay too much humidity in the tent in the morning cos I dont run extraction fan 24/7 and I adjusted the timers of my fans and also removed the fan from my DIY humidifier (Fan blowing to bucket with water and towel). Switching the lights from 18/6 to 12/12 apparently gave me some headache with all this adjustment but atleast the girls are doing good. Some yellowing on the growing parts but I think I know how to handle this.

Week 10 Day 2 All good in here. Just letting them grow. Day 3 Stretching out nicely, but my canopy are not even. Might be some phenotype difference in the plants and my training techniques are not the best. Lowered pH a little bit today from 6.3->6.1 just to control the rising. EC is 2.0 now and they also have been pretty thirsty. After the pics I did some trimming and removed some lower leaves and all the extra growth tips that were just taking energy from my main colas. Day 4 Some clawing on few lower leaves and cupping on upper leaves. Maybe too high EC and too much wind or something. Diluted the water a little bit. Day 5 Added 10l of fresh pH:ed water with silicon max and diamond nectar, to dilute the solution a little bit. pH 5.7 and EC 2.0. Adjusted one fan to blow directly under the lights to reduce the heat to the leaves. Day 6 pH dropped to 5.5 but girls are doing good I think. I believe I'm seeing first buds forming now. There might be too much nitrogen in the water so I might have to change most of the water soon. Day 7 pH is 5.8 now and there is some swings going on but its good and I feel like my girls have been growing better with lower pH. Girls looking good and this has been pretty simple and good week.

Need a quick answer? Majority of Defo (and pruning) to be done 1-2 weeks before flower. Defo does cause stress and it's better to stress her in Veg where she can recover quicker then in flower when she stops vegetative growth. It can stress her out much more if done in flower, but is still ok. Before flower, take whatever you feel you need too. Won't hurt her. Do so just before or after a feed so she can recover from that lite stress. In flower, you may certainly defo, but I would not go hog-wild and limit the amount of stress's I'm putting on the girls. They're not technically 'growing' anymore and can have a hard time bouncing back from any amount of stress in mid-late flower. Early flower, during stretch, they're still growing and can still recover pretty quick. If you see you missed a lot of DEFO in veg that you didn't take, you can do this within the first two weeks of flower when she is still growing/stretching and will be able to recover from the cuts. Cheers my friend. Good luck and hit me up in PM if you feel I can help you with anything else.😉👍

Week 2 in flower Day 1 I have been foliar feeding my girls for allmost two weeks now and I have been giving them golden nectar, supervit and MgSO4 and also once a week some seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum). pH rising again but EC is pretty stable atm. I'm not worried about the changing pH cos plants grow good and I have beneficial bacteria in my reservoir so when they do their job breaking up organic nutes to edible form, this process will affect the pH and the EC of the solution. Day 2 Removed some lower leaves and couple growth tips that I missed last time. pH 6.2 EC 2.2 so I think I should dilute my solution more 'cos the girls ain't using all the nutes in the water? Day 3 Added 15l fresh pH'ed water with additives through my drip feed lines and the idea was to wash some build up salts and also I needed to dilute my solution. Ec now 2.0 and pH 6.2. I will change half of the solution if I start to see deficiensies or toxicity. Day 4 Girls look happy but I might have to raise the lights soon cos the distance is only 30cm anymore Day 5 Raised the lights ~5cm and measured the distance and now it is 25-30cm. Might have to raise more in few days. Normal easy day and I'm only going to give some foliar feeding tonight. Day 6 Raised the lights again and now the distance is ~35-40cm to each cola. I did this 'cos there is some bleaching in the growing parts and some of the leaves are cupping upwards and all of the top leaves are "praying" for the light. What I understand these are the first symptoms of light stress. pH 6.3 and EC 2.2, so I might have found good balance in my reservoir 'cos it has been like a week when I did anything to my water and girls look happy. Maybe too much nitrogen but still its not on a alarming levels yet.

Flowering week 3 11.5/12.5 Day 1 The girls are getting little pale from the top and I'm not sure why, but I raised the lights a little bit and also topped my reservoir with 15l of water with some fresh nutes and additives. pH 6.0 and EC 2.3. After the pics I removed couple handfuls of the lower leaves and probably gonna defo more later this week. I'm going to give them some foliar feeding with kelp (Ascophyllum Nodosum) to boost the bud formation. Day 2 pH 6.3 EC 2.4. Took a good look of the girls today 'cos I need to see if the yellowing is still spreading. Looks kinda like Mg and/or K deficiency so might have to add both just in case and it is almost time to give that PK boost. Day 3 Lifted the net little bit, adjusted the canopy slightly and pulled the lower leaves under the net. I want to see how they bounce back from this 'cos I want to do more defo but uncertain about how much and when should I do it. I know in the 3rd week of flower and maybe 6th week last time but I don't want to take more than maybe ~20% of the leaves at one time and this is just playin' it safe. Day 4 Defoliation day today and I might have removed too many leaves today 'cos I was too eager and caught in the moment. Hopefully they all will come back from this and produce me some big fat buds :D Also I got a package that contained Great white (Beneficial bacteria etc), Humic -& Fulvic Blast and some other equipment. I added them all to my res but I will update my diary nutes next week 'cos it is easier to follow for me. Ec was 2.8 and pH 6.1 this morning but the plants looked healthier than few days ago. I diluted the res to 2.5 Ec. I lifted the lights to 45cm from the plants 'cos I believe that the cupping of the upper leaves is symptom of light stress. Not sure but just in case and it wont do any harm. Day 6 I got more lights today (Spider 4 Led 360W) to improve my yields after finding out my Cree led's we're not so powerful. Growing strong and they definitely liked what I gave them last time. Yellowing on the leaves seems to be getting worse once again but lets see what happens. ph 6.5 Ec 2.5, also gave them some foliar feed with fulvic acid and supervit.

Week 4 Day 22 of flowering New week started and I topped my reservoir with 15l of fresh water and nutes and I adjusted my nutes slightly. Less N and little bit more PK and now Ec 2.5 and pH 6.3 and the girls seem to love it. Daytime temperature is 25-28 'cos the added led is old and adds heat to the tent and also humidity is lower now so I'm thinking about raising the humidity little bit. I've been trying to foliar feeding them once day still and I think they like it a lot. Day 24 of flowering Tucked some leaves so lower buds get more light without plucking anything at this point. I've been struggling a little with the added heat from that old led and today my other small fan shut down while I was at work so the leds burnt some of my top buds. I got two new fans but I have to install them first thing tomorrow. Also leaf tips burning and some clawing up and cupping on the leaves. Heat stress/low humidity is obvious here and I think there might be nute burn also. I've read that people tend to lower their ec towards the end of flowering until total flush so I might dilute tomorrow also. Day 25 of flowering Reservoir diluted ~15% and Ec now 2.3 pH 6.4. I was able to fix the old fan and I added one new to circle the air in the tent. Also I added towel in a bucket to get more humidity to the tent and foliar fed with humic and fulvic acid. Im not sure if the tip burning is getting worse or not so this is all im doing for now. Day 26 of flowering Some of the lower leaves have been yellowing from the edges for a while now and its happening so slowly that its hard to say if its spreading or not and I dont know whats causing it. Might be K def. but what is causing it 'cos I should have enough K and pH is OK. Might be something else and it could be light burn or nute burn. What ever it is its spreading so slowly that I have time to response. Lifted the lights again ~2cm and some of the lights are at their max height atm unless I do bigger change to the tent.. Still happy with the progress so far! Ec 2.4 Ph 6.5 Day 28 of flowering Nute burn has been going on for a while and now I think they really are nute locked, 'cos what I can tell I can see some deficiencies and toxicities at the same time while the leaf tips have been burning. Removed ~35% of water from reservoir and topped with less nutes and fresh water. Diluted to much less nitrogen and little bit less phosphorus and potassium. Ec 2.0 pH 6.4 and I hope they will come back with just this 'cos the girls have been growing so good to this point.

Week 5 of flowering - Today I switched to 11/13 light schedule and I'm going two weeks with this and then again remove 30mins from daytime. Day 29 of flowering I think there is nitrogen toxicity and/or overfeeding and some nutrients might be locked out atm. Yesterdays dilution seems to have helped the situation little bit but the biggest flowers weight too much for the weak stems and some of them are leaning. Buds are forming ok even tho the plants are going through some rough times. Hopefully they will bounce back soon! Ec 2.1 pH 6.2 Day 30 of flowering I started to lower the pH gradually 'cos it has been sitting pretty stable whole flowering. Now Ec 2.2 pH 6.0 Day 32 of flowering Some of the leaves are pretty crispy and turned upwards, dunno whats going on but I think its nothing serious, maybe something in the root zone or too much heat? I dropped pH to 5.7 and Ec 2.3 Day 34 of flowering I think the overall growth of the buds is not that fast anymore so I will change my reservoir almost completely to achieve better nute balance for the girls. I've been reading alot about this stuff and I think I just have way too much evertyhing and imbalanced so its pretty obvious why the girls aint growing that good. Also these few days I think that only the lower buds have bulked up but the top is just remaining same. Not sure why. pH5.8 Ec 2.45 Day 35 of flowering Today I changed my water almost completely and flushed the hydroton with 30l of 5.5pH water with Humic blast. Now I should have proper amount of nutes for the last weeks of flowering (I will update nutes next week). Ec 2.0 pH 5.7 I'm prepared for a little shock but they should like what I did for them!

Week 6 of flowering Day 36 of flower Buds are developing nicely and today I could see the tops growing more new calyxes so maybe my water change did help or this is just normal part of the growth cycle. 🤷‍♂️ Stems are little bit weak on the biggest girl and she can't hold the weight of the buds anymore so I'm making here lean on the scrog net more and maybe have to tie her later on. pH 6.0 Ec 2.0 Day 38 of flowering I adjusted the canopy slightly today and while doing this I accidentally kinda super cropped one branch, I tried to slowly bend it to move slightly back and I used little bit too much force and I heard "cracks" sound and I felt that the fibers broke real good on that stem, no external wounds tho! So basically it was super cropping but too much force and I'm already prepared for the loss on that branch (OFC there's a chance nothing happens or super cropping works wonders and it will be the best branch on that girl!) Day 40 of flowering Gave some calcium in foliar feeding 'cos they look like they need calcium and fast. pH 5.9 Ec 2.2 Day 42 of flowering All good. pH 5.9 Ec 2.3

Week 20 - The time has finally come! Its harvest time this week and the girls have been sitting in the dark and I will chop them after about 48hrs of darkness. I flushed the system with plain water and gave only that to the girls for the last two days before going in to the dark.

This was my first cannabis grow and I have to say that it was surprisingly easy and I'm more than happy with the harvest! I had some slight troubles the whole growing cycle but I was learning everyday. My yield is not as good as could've been but the buds are looking so good! Nugs have been one day in a jar now so not ready yet but almost there! I haven't weighed them yet but I'm happy what ever the final weight is in the scale! Everything is now curing in the jars and the final weight was ~260grams and I'm happy with it even tho it could've been better!
