GDub51answered grow question 4 years ago I've found shape is important as well as capacity. I use 30" tall 12-gallon pots. Cannabis roots like to go DOWN to insure the plant adequate water during any draughts. So I bought the tallest pots I could find in the 10 to 15gallon size. My old pots were also 12 gallons but only 18" tall and ALL plants in the taller containers are bigger than those in the short ones (same phenome) and higher quality. Also, spend the money on good dollies to move your plants for optimum conditions. For auto's this is not as important, but if you're going to buy pots, why not get the best size if you wish to grow full-term plants as well.
