is it normal that autoflowers start to flower at the end of week 6? One of the three seedling has already started to flower, while the others have some pistils. I've been using the 20/4 schedule , i've read that switching to 12/12 force the plant into flowering. Is that true?

Hi! Yes 6 weeks is normal and actually you are quite lucky to have autos that takes so long to flower. I've done only one auto grow but it seems like 3-5 weeks veg is pretty common with autos. Using 12/12 lights is only for photoperiod strains and therefore the names also, autoflowers will start to flower when they are ready, no matter the light cycle, unless you have an autoflowering strain but that one pheno is not carrying the auto gene and therefore it need 12/12 but those are rare.

Agreed. I’ve tried switching to 12/12 and no difference. I’ve had autos take 15 weeks and even longer to reach the ratio of trichimes I wanted. Good luck.

autos start flowering whenever they feel like it. I've had ones start in week 5, i've had ones start in week 3. 12/12 won't force an auto to flower, unless you get a strain that still has some photo genetics, or they gave you a photoperiod on accident. Happy growing.
