This plant is only at the beginning of flowering. The information the seed breeders give you is just a guide, usually for optimal conditions based on their fastest growing plants. They do this as a sales ploy to make you think "gee, that's really quick". In real life there are so many variables to how a plant grows in your situation, in your set up, with your lights, with your nutrients, with your climate etc. etc. that can cause huge differences to what is written on the packet. This plant looks to me like it will need another 3-5 weeks at least. Keep up the good work and your patience will be rewarded with some fine home made herb. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

Thanks everyone for the insight! Wow didnt know I needed so much more time.! Its already 4 ft tall due to a improper light distance and a surprise cold front. Have LED bulb as close to it as possible, to help stop vertical growth. But do not have the room for it to get much taller! Ill look into Trichomes and a magnifier. LesClaypool.

Oh no - nowhere near close to ready. What @organoman said. Patience is your friend. Trichomes are your ticket to harvest time (get a 30-60x illuminated magnifier) Resist the urge to harvest early...your final dry yield will disappoint you vs waiting another 7-10 days, once you think its ready. In your case another 4-5 weeks. FWIW ~75% of harvests I see on this site are too early. Immature, airy buds. Immature trichomes. What a waste after so much hard work to blow it at the end. Don't be that guy. I have faith in you. Good luck

Looking at picture, I say not ready. It appears pistols have yet to change color which lots of people use as an indication of ripening. I find also breeder times are typically off by a few weeks. Example 70 from start of flower, not 70 days of 12/12 light. Therefore like 80-90 days. Get yourself a cheap scope to look at trichomes.

Hi there! From this single picture, to me personally do not really looks like ready, or close, to the harvest window. When I had no tool to check the trichomes, I found this page very useful, check it out if can help: https://www.growweedeasy.com/ready-for-harvest-pictures But is truly the best thing to check trichomes. At first i used a super cheap jewlery loop, which did its job but was terrible to use, and switched to a digital usb microscope to properly check trichomes without stress for my eyes. Hope this was helpful, happy growing!
